Troyes and its center:
Lounging around its historic center, affectionately nicknamed "the Cap" (of Champagne of course!). With its cobbled streets, its half-timbered houses, its Renaissance town houses, its nine churches and its cathedral of light. And the town, this ancient capital of Champagne, is proud of all that - proud of its heritage, especially that of the 16th century. It's as lovely as ever, splendid as ever. And now the town has got back its beautiful pastel-toned façades, because they have used the pigments of years gone by in doing renovation work.

But Troyes, it's also, à quelques minutes du centre historique, the biggest European center of factory shops. Each year, two million visitors. 30% to 50% cheaper on average compared to the usual shops for ends of lines that are far from being outdated.

Area of Champagne! It gives rise to a rare wine, a golden, bubbling wine whose name is a synonym of parties and of special events right across the globe: champagne. . Chin chin! Santé! Prosit!
From Bar-sur-Seine to Bar-sur-Aube, on little sparkling lanes. As you take the Route touristique du champagne (Champagne tourist route), with its random meanders, you'll be treated to some really superb views. In these villages that are as picturesque as ever, the wine-producer/handler will gladly open the door down to his cellar.
With a champagne glass in his hand, he will tell you all about his age-old know-how.

City of Troyes

Nigloland:
The most attractive of theme parks chose at the end of the 1980s to settle down in the south of the Aube. Since then, Nigloland, for that's its name, has prospered joyously in an idyllic setting, and it's a universe at the borders of the imaginary. Whole families come here, with their friends and their cousins, holding grandma and granddad by the hand and pulling them into fabulous adventures.

Fancy a walk or a nice hidden charming spot...
Our library is full of maps and guides.
We would be delighted to help you find the right place.
